in the US you have to go to "ethnic" stores for the potato chips - even Lays brand but made outside US. So many fascinating flavors.
US grocery stores themselves have mostly just salt+vinegar , sour cream onion, cheddar, bbq (which just just some sickly sweetish thing) :(
