have you ever tried using corn as your grain? I grow dent corn, nixtamalize it, grind it on a metate, make tortillas and tamales. Grow my own beans, garlic, onion, tomatoes, peppers…. Tacos 100% from my garden! Realistically though, if i had to grow all of my own food, i just don’t have access to enough land to do so. Im sure most people are in this boat.
