As a fellow writer I think that Nostr needs a way for people to subscribe to the written work of folks they like. I don't know how technically feasible that is but it's the most obvious solution I can think of that I'm yet to see in any client, to make sure that your 5 fans get the signal on time whenever it drops, and bring in the next 5. That said addressing the wider internet is still a great idea.
