When you set your profile (kind:0), you choose a display name, bio, and picture. That's your "human" side. Namecoin baked `name.btc` addresses directly into the protocol, which was clever, but Nostr prefers treating the cryptographic key as the unchangeable, tamper-proof anchor and the friendly name as just a label you hang on it.
