Speaking from experience, some people have a hair-trigger for taking something the wrong way and getting very mad, but that does not make me like them any less.

This is my fourth mastodon account. I've been blocked by some of my favorite people before and it sucked, but they're still cool with me. They just misunderstood me, and that's okay.

Next time I reply to them, I'll be more careful, will probably "save to draft" the reply and consider connotations carefully for hours.
