Congratulations! We made the commitment last year (we had to run a new circuit) and could not be happier. Induction cooking is awesome and you can do things that require precise temperature control (like tempering chocolate) without the hassle of doing it over a water bath. Not having to remove heavy grates to clean - yes please. Instant responsiveness - very nice.
Not heating the kitchen in the summer - very cool

Also they heat things (like a kettle) to boiling *frightingly fast*
like "yup, I'm pushing 2.5kw into that skillet" the downside is that you can easily crack cast iron that way so step up the heat for those.
