I mean, that's certainly true in the UK, but it's not _as_ true here. Like, the Dem nominee is talking about going after price gouging and brought on as VP someone who has done *tons* of populist stuff as governor. There's only so much Dems can do when they don't control Congress, but if you think they haven't done anything, you're just not paying attention.
