Not everyone is going "to get" Bitcoin. The talk about mass adoption, everyone needs perfect self sovereignty, everyone will buy Bitcoin etc. is a self defeating topic.
The question instead is how, as Bitcoiners, do we leverage the powers of Bitcoin and provide the value native to the system to anyone?
This line of thinking seems to route around the tremendous amount of work required to give people the how and why of Bitcoin, and deliver the value first.
