kirby (npub1aqr…v9j5) Github is absolutely meant to share code however if you as a project also use the platform for application distribution you're inherently going to run into people that have no idea how to use Github. Github is really bad for this and there are other platforms that provide better interfaces for non technical users, that's why on Linux we use package managers instead for most things.
