Based on the quote, the University president seems to sympathize with Muslim/ Palestinian students while acknowledging pressure/ leverage from "powerful groups." We've seen University presidents bounced after Congressional brow-beating. The threat is real. The root problem here is media and government conspiring against truth and justice. University leadership is not immune to such pressures.
