I both believe and sympathize with the burnout stories shared by the #fosstodon admins. I can’t imagine that running an instance with thousands of users in my spare time would be anything but misery.
But while I’m sure I’d have 99 problems running an instance, kicking out a nazi moderator after people made me aware of that fact would not be one. I can hardly think of a better stress relief.
