They have no agreement.

Russian officials lately stated that #US officials have mentioned that interest in recent bilateral talks.
(To mine #Bitcoin (not crypto) at Zaporoshja NPP.)

We may see this as one point of a bigger future negotiated agreement. But I doubt that.

#Russia/ #Belarus have already "state mining" & private entities legally have to register their #mining operation. (State has preemptive right). Small scale mining of course is possible still undetected.

Imho, Russians were not smart if agreed.
They could do that on their own and sell #BTC or use it to circumvent sanctions.

I dont't know Russias ability to do it as access to Large Scale Mining equipment may be limited. So at least sell the energy or get a fraction of the mined BTC.

Zaporoshja is the biggest European NPP btw.
And by far not in full capacity.

Zaporoshja NPP has plenty of nuclear fuel (uranium) at stock, worth tens of billions $.

It's a real jewel. And Americans know it.
