The UK is falling apart. N Ireland, Scotland and Wales are not going to stay for much longer. England (in effect) wants to keep it tied together but its increasingly desperate attempts to entrench the unitary UK state will fail. The Westminster status quo is a turgid busted flush.
Just look at the polls. This week 59% were in favour of an independent Scottish republic. Look at the 2022 census of Scotland where 65% identify themselves uniquely as "Scottish".
