when I compare LLM proponents to Bitcoin proponents, I don't mean technologically - I mean the style of argument is almost identical.

The things that get hand-waved away, the things that get ignored, the things that I'm supposed to just price in.

And it always misses the fact that there is a giant massive energy spike happening right now during a critical period for the climate.. that is indisputably being caused by LLMs.
