The video shows Civil Defence rescuers working under torchlight and using hammers to slowly remove bricks and shattered masonry under which the child can be heard asking for her mother.
Pulled from beneath a large concrete slab that had pinned her head, the child suffered a large gash to her forehead and blood poured down her face.
