Soberly judged, I'm not a great fit to work at a Swedish #archaeology department. Because I'm convinced that most of their employees didn't get their jobs in open meritocratic competition. And I think it's pointless to offer a number of annual places on those degree programmes that is ~16 times the labour market's demand.
Maybe the museum curator job I'm starting in October is actually the best one for me. I just hope they'll let me write and give talks part of the time.
