The *only* reason I posted anything about GNOME, is because I saw Brodie respond thoughtfully about what the GNOME project could do to bring in more positive interest, and this quickly devolved into GNOME folks talking past him, misrepresenting what he was saying, and insulting him and his intentions. I recalled my similar experience in 2021.
Knowing what I know about Brodie, he has an incredibly positive outlook and really does want to help Linux adoption. It would be wise to listen to him!
