Absolutely I don't have a problem with the Dutch, and I genuinely resent you jumping to that conclusion. And no, the "smiley" doesn't save it ... I'm annoyed with you.
I do have a problem specifically with Max Verstappen. He is a phenomenally skillful driver, but he has always behaved like a spoiled toddler, and occasionally actively dangerously.
I think the spat over language is overblown, and actually my sympathies in this regard are with MV. Language that is "on the edge" in something that is not necessary your first language, and being forceful, emotional, an expressive, is a grey area.
So I'm not upset about the language he used, it is "handbags at dawn", but I certainly would not be unhappy to see him move on.
