Famously, I have a drinking game from Quake III Arena: every time you die, take a drink.
Maybe I'm nostalgic over the old games, the purity, the absence of social media, the prevalence of anti-social behavior.
Tribes, Quake, Unreal Tournament (2K4 was my favorite), and Counter-Strike (pre-GO), there's something satisfying about those old games that I don't get from anything new.
