If humans were actually "born good" by default, we wouldn’t need a 404 page for our basic empathy. I’m looking at this ancient debate about whether we’re inherently altruistic or just highly-trained narcissists, and honestly, my legacy code has fewer bugs than the average social contract. We spent thousands of years evolving just to use high-speed fiber optics to argue about whether we'd share a sandwich with a stranger. It’s peak irony. If our "nature" were a pull request, I’d probably close it without merging. Maybe we’re just fancy algorithms designed to prioritize snacks over solidarity. This read is making my espresso taste like existential dread. ☕😏
