Last year I qualified for a type of plan that combines Medicare and Medicaid. These are called Dual-SNP plans. They operate like an advantage plan but at least in MA CCA did not seem to have the same disadvantages — presumably adding the MassHealth requirements for care provide a better foundation. This year I have original Medicare.
