But surely this isn't really an analogy, it's HoTT doing the work it was intended to do. The magnetic field in the AB effect comes from a cocycle in a cohomology which means it acts as a mapping from paths to some base ring or field and HoTT was built to work with those paths. You'll get good mileage out of this :)
