Over the past few days, I have been experimenting with how to transfer structured information from Lightning nodes via Nostr so that the recipient can verify its authenticity.
The result is a small CLI tool that can be used to send and read certain metadata, such as that currently found on Amboss (contact information, minimum channel size, etc.), via Nostr. The idea is to first send a message signed by the Lightning node confirming the Nostr pubkey. The recipients then only accepts information that belongs to this pubkey.
However, the messages are not visible on Primal etc., but only with the cli, which verifies the authenticity of the sender.
The first node has started the network 🎉
