i dont have many regrets in life but one of the few i have is getting swept up in the panic of normalizing blocking and severing communal ties over trifles because by default, anything aberrant is seen as Nazi. i should, we all should have seen it coming that this would always do more harm than help. it shouldn't have been so non-obvious to me and it shouldn't STILL be non-obvious to so many that this is copbrain behavior that will always lead to harm toward minority groups and marginalized people
