One of the longer pods in a pile in front of me. I missed the handout of the audio tour earsets so I didn't get a lot of what was said. I understood about 1/3 of the Spanish tour. I got the impression that the factory has its own carob sources, but that some local farmers also bring their product to sell them and so the cultivars used can vary.

You could see marks on the side of the warehouse from how high the piles can get during a bumper harvest.
