So, I'm p sure that the TV I'd watch as a young child having closed captioning on had *something* to do with me absolutely demolishing the standards for reading at basically every stage of schooling.
That's why I'm confused as to why gen alpha can't read. All their short form videos have captions synced to words, usually by fragments no more than 2-4 words.
How are they not picking up patterns like I did?
