Maybe as public schooling is destroyed, we can build education collectives, in the vein of "homeschool co-ops".
I would love to imagine a future in which the education of kids is about bringing them into the life of their community, sharing knowledge & wisdom, & giving them the tools they need to develop as healthy individuals, not about making them obedient. We need kindness & compassion & creativity. Those are the sorts of things that make a valuable education. Obedience is bullshit.
