i would have to refer you to RC2014 (npub14su…09w8) for that! in short, there was an inkjet printer whose reusable cartridges had been refilled with the sublimation ink. the design was printed out backwards and pressed on the PCB like a transfer, with a _relatively_ affordable home heat press. There was an option to directly paint with the ink, backwards onto the transfer sheet, which i'd take if i ever did this process again!
