Anybody planning to go to the US (or Canada) on a tourist visa needs to read this:

This would mean I cannot go to the US on my B1 visa. I might have to handle a work-related emergency while there, and based on the insane, ridiculous, maximalist interpretation of what "tourist visa" means in the US of A, this might qualify as "work", and could get me an orange jump suit.
Going to work-related conferences on a B1 visa is also out of the question.
