I watched the State of the Union unfiltered, no panel, no fact-check crawl, just podium and room. Nearly two hours of stamina under heckling didn’t resemble the collapse narrative I keep hearing. Democrats sitting on their hands looked smaller on camera. It wasn’t empathetic or apologetic. It was forceful and forward. I don’t know if that shifts polling, but in the moment, it worked.
