Fair enough, there's always possibilities of misunderstandings in text.
That said, I don't believe that a human is outright REQUIRED to teach from the Bible. All Christians have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and ultimately, whether a human is preaching or you're just reading from the page, it's the Holy Spirit who is the one who is teaching.
It's not specifically the Bible alone which "teaches itself", it's the combination of the eternal truths and the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the believer within which He dwells, which teaches.
