No sign of any rain/snow producing clouds. There were some big towering lumpies over the top of Banks Peninsula, but I think they stay out there.
What we have been having though are strong cold southerlies. Icy cold, and quite gusty. (That and crystal clear skies... -4C looks like an underestimate of where things are headed)
Saw a few hardy dog-walkers out before the sun set, bundled up head to toe while their pooches bounded along.
