It makes me so fucking mad when fascists and chuds are looking at the viking age, of all times, as some kind of example for cultural purity or some shit. Like wheeeere the hell do they even get this idea. As if the most interesting thing about that period wasn't the incredible amount of cultural exchange, syncretism and transfer of stories and traditions from Europe's northern Atlantic coast to the eastern Baltic to Normandy and beyond.
