I know a scientist like this. Well, he has the diploma's and he's in a cult called scientism imho. And the scary part is, he has fellow scientist friends and they all seem to agree with each other 🤯 in de acedemic circle jerk.
These are the same people who made the current information dark age possible again and claim that the peer review system "is not perfect but this is the best we have".
These are the people who say "we" all the time. "We" need to do this, "we" should all do that. Similar behavior to what we know from e.g. the WEF cult or the indoctrinated Woke zombies.
