I love watching the death throes of technologists who can’t pivot into new tools. It leaves so much opportunity for the rest of us.

It’s the same old trope that was wide spread when assembly came out (you’ll forget how to unscrew tubes!), then when compiled languages came out (you’ll forget how to address memory directly!) then when scripting came out (it’ll be too slow to be useful!). Everything is the end of the world. Whatever happened to technologists that loved geeking out on new things? 😆
