I honestly don't understand the leap in logic between seeing the popularity of a contextless toot proposing a couple of brief acronyms expressing anti-paywall & anti-AI sentiments and these somehow illustrating a more general tendency for reply guy behavior on here.

(I'm also not going to get into that person's replies about this, for reasons that should be utterly obvious.)

Do people not use these acronyms among friends? Do they not use them as responses to reply guys?

The extended conversation about reply toxicity is good, but the occasion for it seeming somehow obvious to everyone involved just baffles me.
