We spent this morning at an emergency vet appointment. Late last night I noticed that Casper had some discharge from his cheek in the same place he had his surgery last year. The vet said that it was probably some residual effect from the surgery such as a stitch that didn't completely dissolve or irritation from scar tissue. The area was cleaned out and stitched up. Casper is on antibiotics for the next two weeks.
