A fantasy:
1. Biden uses his presidential immunity + no-fucks-leftitude to expand the supreme court, restore abortion rights, fix immigration, cancel all student debt, raise the minimum wage, impose medicare for all, etc.
2. GOP sues. Presidential immunity? No not like that!
3. The expanded supreme court agrees, restores checks and balances.
4. Biden leaves, cases against Trump go forward once more. The only temporary beneficiary of presidential immunity was Biden.
Wouldn't that be nice?
