Maybe not that far. EU has borrowed much money to give it to Ukraine. Ukraine will not give money, but EU might have to. When the war is over, what will they do? What would be the situation? EU would be a bunch of states with aged population plus many immigrants who are a wild card, with obsolete technology, deindustrialised in general, that would collectively owe much money, with no significant military, slow in decisions, with great dependency in energy and other significant things like rare earths, digital services since most of the infrastructure depends on google, microsoft, amazon etc that have their base in USA. Doesn't seem like a viable situation. Looksmore like Babel
