If you have the time, money, interest, attention span, ability to persevere, and can get admitted to the program, do it. Don't worry about the investment unless it would cripple you financially (then it's not worth it). It's more about the achievement, and not even for bragging rights, but just one of those things you can point at later on and tell yourself, "I did that, and I can do this too."
