My uncle once played a card game with me. After I had won couple of times in a row, I was eager to bet my pocket money.
So my uncle said okay but told me that it is wise only to bring some (not all money) at the table. So I went and got 5 mark. I lost. But I went again for money and lost again. At the end I had lost all my savings.
My uncle than said to me: Don't think you can control the game. When it is about money the game is controlled by the dealer. I manipulated the deck so I always win. That's why I made you get money over and over again. I needed that time.

I never played for money my whole life.
