Some people are losing their social skills for spending too long on the screen. If you are already uncomfortable speaking with people, running away from them is not helping you either.
Baby steps. Interact one person a day offline. Start with simple hi and hello. Small chat. Think of one non-intrusive question that you can ask someone and get curious.
The way to change is replacing old habits with a new one, baby-step, every day.
