I can enjoy visiting a beautiful place without fishing. But having a plan to fish gives me extra motivation to get outside. I probably don’t need to actually catch anything to appreciate being in nature, but catching a fish does make the day a bit more rewarding. So as long as I keep the intention to fish, I will likely spend more time outdoors.
