School shootings are horrific events that should never, ever happen. Anyone involved in them should be locked up forever as far as I care.
However, there are two things that will not prevent the next tragedy: thoughts and prayers.
Let's actually get some legislation going to reduce the availability of guns to people who shouldn't have them.
