Our absolutely intelligent, forward thinking, Municipal Corporation has decided to fine Waste Pickers and cleaners ₹500 for every instance of improper waste segregation.
Instead of educating the citizens of the importance and growing need for waste segregation, they are penalising the cleaners.
Here’s the underlying problem: for most people, including those in the administration, this is the job of the cleaners, not the citizenry. 🤦🏽♂️
