I think we're still 3-4 weeks before blooms start opening up here. I'll notice the Daffodils first, as there are so many growing locally, including the woods behind my house.

While my Mom was still living (retirement home), I was able to pick a bouquet of daffodil blossoms from the ones she'd planted at our lake property, and present them to her for Mothers Day (yellow, with white centers, and very frilly).

They were usually starting to fade by May. 🙂
