Crypto asset regulation isn’t the beautiful, clean victory narrative people are selling.
Especially for alts — the devil is very much in the details.
Higher compliance costs, vague token classification, stablecoin restrictions, marketing rules, and fragmented jurisdictions don’t just “protect consumers.” They quietly raise the barrier to entry until only the well-capitalized and well-connected can play.
Most tokens were already useless. Regulation is just accelerating the natural selection — and it’s not pretty for anyone who isn’t already big.
