my opinion :

"Government is about control. When they finance schools they decide what we get to know and understand (=censoring what they don’t like, even factual events, to stay in power🔍)."

The money they give is not free or because they are empathic:

"The empathic politicians, most likely won't get the power to change systems to better the environment/society," politcs is an ugly game.

People who are good or who want to do good won't play that game, it's selling your soul to the devil to hold or increase your power (fastlane).

Building in an honest way cost time👀, the probability you succeed is also lower than for people without boundaries, some of them are good in politics because playing dirty is their second nature.
