Because of some recent traveling, this Friday I'm unusually in the midst of several different books.
The first is 'Written on the Dark' by one of my most favorite writers, Guy Gavriel Kay.
Continuing to write in the low magic alternate fantasy history world he has created in Al-Rassan, Sarantine Mosaic, and several others, I just realized that this book is his version of Joan of Arc, Henry V, and the French Civil War in the 15th century.
