OK so - I went down the rabbit hole and decided to spend some more (...more than double. Oops.) to be sure the brightness wouldn't be disappointing and remained usable when the room isn't completely darkened, or when I want the projector further away from a surface in order to get a bigger image.

Ideally ones available in Europe, on not-Amazon (for me that probably means at MediaMarkt or Saturn).
Or are they all rubbish? I am no audioviz enthusiast so I mean, passable quality is OK with me!
